PHASE 1: INTENSIVE TRAINING
1. Basic Computer Knowledge
This is a foundation module designed to ensure every participant is comfortable using a computer.

2. Introduction to the Internet
Participants learn how to use the internet for productivity, learning, and work.

- Introduction to web browsers and search engines (Google, Bing)
- Safe internet browsing and navigation
- Creating and using email professionally (Gmail, Outlook)
- Introduction to cloud storage and collaboration tools (Google Drive, OneDrive)
- Cybersecurity essentials (passwords, phishing, privacy)
3. Technical Business Training – Social Media Management & Digital Marketing
Teaching participants how to promote businesses online and manage a professional digital presence.
Key Topics Covered:
- Introduction to major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Creating and managing a business page
- Content creation: writing posts, taking photos/videos, Canva basics
- Scheduling posts, analyzing insights/metrics
- Basics of digital advertising (Facebook Boost, Google Ads)
- Branding and storytelling online
4. Business Management
Essential business skills and operations for launching and running a small enterprise.
Key Topics Covered:
- Business structures (sole proprietorships, partnerships, cooperatives)
- How to register a business in Togo
- Inventory and supply chain management
- Setting business goals and KPIs
- Customer service and retention
- Time and team management basics
5. Financial Education
Preparing women to manage business finances responsibly and make informed financial decisions.

- Personal vs. business finance
- Budgeting and planning
- Basic bookkeeping and records
- Understanding income, expenses, and profit
- How to set prices for products/services
- Mobile money use and banking services
- Introduction to savings, loans, and microfinancing
PHASE 2: BUSINESS COACHING & STARTUP LAUNCH
1. Business Idea Generation
Helping participants identify viable and relevant business opportunities.
Activities Include:
- Brainstorming sessions with trainers and peers
- Local market research and identifying community needs
- Opportunity mapping based on personal interests and training skills
- Case studies of successful women-led businesses in Africa
2. Elevator Pitch & Branding
Training participants to confidently present their business idea to stakeholders, donors, and customers.
Key Topics Covered:
- Crafting a compelling business story
- Structuring a 60-second pitch: Problem – Solution – Market – Why You?
- Practice with mock pitching sessions
- Creating a business name and brand identity
3. Startup Support Package
Each participant will receive:
- Initial Seed Funding to launch their business (amount based on budget)
- One Laptop for digital operations
- One Smartphone to stay connected and run social media/digital services
4. Guided Business Implementation
Hands-on support during the launch and early operations phase.
Support Includes:
- One-on-one business coaching
- Weekly check-ins and troubleshooting
- Linking with local mentors and partners
- Monitoring business growth using simple reporting tools
- Hosting showcase events to present progress
By the end of the year, each of the 15 young women will have:
A fully operational and legally registered business
Practical digital and business skills
The tools to manage and market their ventures
Financial literacy and digital independence
Confidence and role model status in their communitiesNB: By the end of 5 years, each one of them should have been able to mentor 15 girls from their community who in their will create 15 companies as well. And the cycle continues each five year“Dèdè Tech Abiré” is in Kabiyè language that translates to “Our Queen of Technology”.
